Sarah & Chris | Wedding Among The Lavender Fields

One of the most beautiful places in woodinville to celebrate a wedding is Woodinville Lavender. Nestled in what feels like a rural farmland oasis, rows and rows of stunning lavender bloom throughout the spring and summer, with perfectly carved out spaces for wedding ceremonies and receptions. Although you feel like you’re miles from the nearest neighbor, Woodinville Lavender is just a short walk from dozens of winery tasting rooms, a cirque/comedy/cabaret theater, a concert venue and a variety of restaurants. It’s really a magical place and I love being a part of the weddings that happen here. One of those weddings this past wedding season was Sarah & Chris’, which took place on a perfect August afternoon.

When I met with Sarah and Chris, I loved that in spite of being a relaxed and low key couple, they knew exactly what they wanted their day to be about. They were focused on making sure the wedding felt as beautiful and casually elegant as the venue itself, and was a true reflection of them as a couple. My goal, based on their vision, was make sure the ceremony flowers and reception arrangements felt like an extension of the woodinville wedding venue, complimenting the surroundings. But also for the flowers to be an intentional and luxurious addition to the space, without going over the top or loosing that garden vibe.
