Nicole & David | Classic White and Green Wedding at Hidden Meadows
I love doing all white wedding flowers for a bride. For me, it’s almost more challenging than using colorful flowers because the emphasis has to be on shape and texture to give the floral arrangements dimension. So when Nicole reached out about her September wedding at Hidden Meadows in Snohomish, I was excited about making sure the all white floral palette was a show stopping detail in the venue.
One of the key’s, I think, for making this all white floral palette stand out was incorporating a variety of greenery in different shades. From silvery green poplar branches to deep emerald tones in smilax and huck, the greenery helped break up the white and also created a contrast to help the flowers really shine.
The other important factor was the natural beauty of the venue. The garden area where the ceremony took place provided even more lush greenery in a variety of tones which enhanced the floral. And the modern barn interior, which has a rustic vibe with dark beams on the ceiling and dark wood floors, also helped the clean white floral stand apart.
Nicole’s vision, which was coordinated beautifully by her event planner, Eventful Moments, is one I truly enjoyed being a part of. Here are a few of my favorite photos captured by amazing photographer Lily K Photography.
